Pre School full exterior clean
We were contacted by this client to discuss a variety of surfaces that needed cleaning, some of which had become slippery and dangerous for parents dropping off their children.
With slip, trip and fall claims on the increase and running into the thousands of pounds, it was clear that the management of the nursery wanted to protect their insurance premiums and ensure a safe environment for their customers and staff.
A site visit determined that water was pooling on the tarmac footpaths, causing moss and algae build up to occur. On closer inspection, it was found that several drains had become blocked and rainwater was pooling, staying wet and creating an ideal environment for the moss and algae to grow.
The children’s play areas consisted of tarmacked areas with heavy dirt build up, these areas were used on a daily basis for the children to get some much needed fresh air, but were in need of a clean.
They also had a larger play area, which consisted of a multi surface track and play equipment such as a pirate ship, rubber toad stools and a wendy house.
Gutters and fascias were also in need of cleaning and maintenance, so a package incorporating all of the requirments was put together. This included
· All floor surfaces cleaned
· Drains unblocked
· Gutter & Fascia Clean
· Full building rinse
· All glazing cleaned with pure water
Happy with our quotation, we arranged for the maintenance to be carried out at the weekend, to minimise and disruption to the pre-school operation and any risk to the children or staff.
