Drain Unblocking & Cleaning

It’s a sad fact of life that pipes and drains in homes and businesses can become blocked. Usually, a blocked drain is no fault of your own, although in some cases, items disposed of in toilets and sinks, such as fats, grease and wipes, can cause a blockage. Alternatively, it may be a tree root or damaged pipe that’s causing the problem. Whatever the cause of your blocked drains, our expert team is on hand to help.

Manual unblocks

When your toilet is overflowing and won’t flush, your sink is backing up or your shower won’t drain, Jet Clean have the skills, experience and a range of equipment to sort this out quickly, with minimum fuss and get things back to normal working order.

When would a manual unblock be required
This method is typically used for internal blockages found in kitchens, bathrooms or utility areas. They are often caused by hair build ups, food waste and a variety of other product being deposited that will not easily dissolve or breakdown.

High-Pressure Drain Jetting

High-pressure jetting is one of our most popular methods of drain unblocking and cleaning. It uses water jets that are propelled at pressures of over 3000 psi to break up blockages, remove encrustations and loosen hard debris. Despite its simplicity, drain-jetting is an extremely effective method of clearing and cleaning drains, maintaining the flow of water for longer and removing blockages before they become a potentially expensive problem.

When can jet drain cleaning be used?

High-pressure jetting is the fastest, most economical and environmentally friendly way to keep your drains clear, clean and problem-free. It can be used for:
Debris removal  //  Drain cleaning  //  Regular drain maintenance  //  Gully cleaning

CCTV Drain inspection

Sometimes blockages are caused due to structural defects in your drainage pipes such as cracks or breaks. A CCTV drain survey is an accurate way of visually inspecting your drain, identifying issues affecting the normal operation of your drains and accurately locating where the fault has occurred.

When would CCTV survey be used
If you have a reoccurring blockage or we identified a more serious issue may be present, then a CCTV drain survey would be recommended.
This allows us to get a clear view inside your drains so that we can recommend the best course of action. Often we find items lodged in pipes or tree root ingress, which can be dealt with fairly quickly, but sometimes it may be a more serious issue such as a collapsed drain that needs repairing.

You will be provided with a copy of the CCTV video captured during the inspection and a detailed inspection report with diagnosis and recommendations on the best and most cost effective options to repair any issues identified
